Maison A La Campagne

For me, an interior should never feel like a showroom.

Our main concept was to cover all the walls with "secret Victorian wainscoting," designed by our studio. What's the secret? Behind the panels, we hide functional custom-made furniture such as cabinets, doors, umbrella storage, radiators, and more.

About the project

I focused on enhancing the house's natural light and its connection to the landscape—washing the original stone walls white, introducing linen curtains, and selecting furniture in soft earth tones that reflect the surrounding lavender fields. The goal was to create a serene retreat that celebrates traditional French country life, perfect for long summer evenings and unhurried mornings.

This project lasted 12 weeks and was featured in French Style magazine.

Mike immediately understood our vision, even when we struggled to express it clearly. He translated our thoughts into elegant, practical solutions and showed us visual examples that matched perfectly.
